The Acceptance of Correct Righteous Actions

First Khutbah:

All the Praise due to Allah, the Lord of all the worlds. He orders with His Oneness and His obedience. I bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, Him Alone without associate rivals with Him. He created us to worship Him. And I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave, Messenger and His best choice from His creation, sallahu wa alayhi wa salam. May Allah send upon him greetings of peace and upon his family and his companions and his tabeen [those who came after the Messenger of Allah sallahu wa alayhi wa salam] and upon his religion send upon him the best salutations.

And what comes after:

O people fear Allah Glorified is He and the Most High, and take initiative with correct actions. For indeed it is the capital of your wealth from this world. And it is the fruit of your labor [deeds] and the reason for entering Paradise and deliverance from the fire [Hell]. So embark upon good deeds and indeed let your deeds be righteous   sincerely for wajhullah [Face of Allah,  sincerely for Allah ]. He the Most High said:

إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ كَانَتْ لَهُمْ جَنَّاتُ الْفِرْدَوْسِ نُزُلاً

Verily those who believe and do righteous deeds shall have The Garden of Al Firdaus [Paradise] for their entertainment.

Al-Kahf 18: 107

He the Most High said:

إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَهُمْ جَنَّاتُ النَّعِيمِ

“Verily those who believe and do righteous good deeds, for them are Garden of Delight

[Paradise].

Luqman 31: 08

And He the Glorified the Most High said:

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم*وَالْعَصْرِ* إِنَّ الإِنسَانَ لَفِي خُسْرٍ* إِلاَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالْحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالصَّبْرِ

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Most Merciful. By al Asr [the time]. Verily mankind is loss, except those who believe and do good and enjoin on each other truth, and enjoin on each other patience.

Asr

There no deliverance on the Day of Judgement from the fire [Hell] and he desire to enter into the Paradise with the condition of righteous [correct] deed.  And the righteous [correct] deed is fulfilled with two conditions, and they [the deeds] are not accepted without these two conditions.

First condition: That it be sincerely for the pleasures of Allah and not in it Major Shirk, or Minor Shirk.  And Major Shirk is supplicating to other than Allah and seeking help/aid from the dead, or getting close to the tombs.  Major Shirk from these types and other kinds, it is these actions of shirk are all rejected [no benefit]. Just as he the Most High said:

وَلَوْ أَشْرَكُوا لَحَبِطَ عَنْهُمْ مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ

” But if they had join in worship others with Allah, all that they used to do would have been of no benefit to them”

Al-Anaam 6:88

He the Most High said:

وَلَقَدْ أُوحِيَ إِلَيْكَ وَإِلَى الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِكَ لَئِنْ أَشْرَكْتَ لَيَحْبَطَنَّ عَمَلُكَ وَلَتَكُونَنَّ مِنْ الْخَاسِرِينَ* بَلْ اللَّهَ فَاعْبُدْ وَكُنْ مِنْ الشَّاكِرِينَ

” And indeed it has been revealed to you, as it was to those [Allah’s Messenger] before you. If you join others in worship with Allah, [then] surely [all] your deeds will be in vain, and you will certainly be among the losers. Nay! But worship Allah [Alone and none else] and be among the grateful”

Az-Zumar 39:65-66.

Concerning Minor Shirk and it is Riya [doing things in Islam to be seen of men or praise from mankind]. For it is Riya so indeed this deed has no benefit and he who fall into it.  And the Messenger [sallahu wa alayhi wa salam] fear this for his companions and he said:” I fear, that which is more dreadful on you is Minor Shirk”, it was asked concerning it he said“Riyaa”. A man stands so he is praying so he perfected his Salah, so perhaps the man sees him [how he performs Salah], so for this hadith Allah the Most High on the day of Judgement towards the persons “Go to those who you saw them in this world {those whom you did things for them to see you} ¿Do you find your rewards with them?!”

Concerning the second condition for the healthy deed and its acceptance: So it is a must to follow the traditions of the Messenger sallahu wa alayhi wa salam. The Muslim stays away from bidah, and newly invented matters [in the religion] because the Shariah [Islam Laws] is completed and all praise is due to Allah. There is no need for additions and to add newly innovated things. He sallahu wa alayhi wa salam, said:” who adds a newly innovated matter in our affairs [deen, religion], that is not from our affairs [deen] for it is rejected” in another narration” whosoever does actions [any kind of deeds] and it not from our affairs for it is rejected”

And Bidah [affairs not from our deen or changes] what he does [with Bidah] to get close with it, to Allah and nor their any proof from Allah’s Book nor from Allah Messenger’s Sunnah [traditions and ways he was order to practice Islam, from Allah].  This is Bidah and the same as newly innovated matters [in the deen]. ” Who adds an newly innovated matter in our affairs [deen] that is not from it, so it is rejected.”  Or innovates a newly innovated matter and other than and act with it, for the saying sallahu wa alayhi wa salam” who does an action [deed] it is not from our affairs then the action is rejected”.  And He the Most High brings two conditions:

بَلَى مَنْ أَسْلَمَ وَجْهَهُ لِلَّهِ وَهُوَ مُحْسِنٌ فَلَهُ أَجْرُهُ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِ وَلا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ

” Yes but whoever submit his face [ himself] to Allah and he is a Muhsin then his reward is with his Lord and such shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve “

Al-Baraa 2:112

‘Submitting his face [himself] to Allah’ this is Iklaas [sincerely for Allah]. Submitting his face to Allah which is a sincere deed to Him away from Major Shirk and Minor Shirk, he is a Muhsin [a good doer] which is the custom which belong to the Messenger, may Allah send upon him Salutation of Peace. There is not in his action Bidah nor a newly innovated action.

مَنْ كَانَ يَرْجُوا لِقَاءَ رَبِّهِ فَلْيَعْمَلْ عَمَلاً صَالِحاً وَلا يُشْرِكْ بِعِبَادَةِ رَبِّهِ أَحَداً

” So whoever hopes for meeting with his Lord, let him work righteousness and associate none as a partner in the worship of his Lord.”

Al-Kahf 18: 110

Fear Allah O slaves of Allah and know indeed never will any one enter into Paradise from you with his deed, but only with Allah’s Mercy. So that  the deed it is the reason for entering Paradise and never will you enter Paradise, and he who his deed are mix with Major Shirk he will not enter Paradise. So he will never enter into Paradise.

إِنَّهُ مَنْ يُشْرِكْ بِاللَّهِ فَقَدْ حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ الْجَنَّةَ وَمَأْوَاهُ النَّارُ وَمَا لِلظَّالِمِينَ مِنْ أَنصَارٍ

“Verily, whosoever sets up partners [in worship] with Allah then Allah has forbidden Paradise to him, and the fire will be his abode. And the Dhalimoon [polytheist and wrong doers] there are no helpers.”

And who has a deed in it is Minor shirk for never will he enter Paradise with this deed, he who [his deeds] are mix with Riyaa and Minor Shirk never will he enter Paradise with it. But if he has other actions/ correct / righteous deeds for it is request for him Paradise, but without what which contradict [means without Shirk].

Fear Allah O slaves of Allah and make your actions [deeds] sincere. Allah is the Mighty and the Majestic. Then know that it is a must you continue upon the correct and righteous deeds [actions] until death [until death reaches you].   He the Most High said:

وَاعْبُدْ رَبَّكَ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَكَ الْيَقِينُ

” And worship your Lord until you reach alyaqeen [certainty].”

To you reach death; it is not the purpose and the fate of the Muslim’s deed [actions] without it reaching death [its end]. So pursue your righteous deeds and continue upon it until you meet your Lord, Glorified is He the Most High. For verily it is, the reason for your deliverance with no judgement [means no problems] on the day of Judgement. Concerning this worldly life and the wealth and it adornment, indeed it goes and it does not stay with you except your deed which you leave with it from this world wither it be righteous or evil deeds. Allah the Majestic the Most High orders the Believers with what He orders the Messengers, just as he the Prophet sallahu wa alayhi wa salam said:

“إن الله طيبُ ولا يقبل إلا طيبا “

” Indeed Allah is Tayibu [Pure, Clean, Up Right] and He does not accept except Tayibu [good and upright pure deeds [actions].”

That Allah orders the Believers with what He orders the Messengers, He the Most High said:

يَا أَيُّهَا الرُّسُلُ كُلُوا مِنْ الطَّيِّبَاتِ وَاعْمَلُوا صَالِحاً إِنِّي بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ عَلِيمٌ

” O you Messengers! Eat of the Tayyibaat and do righteous deeds. Verily I am well Acquainted with what you do.”

Al-Muminoon 23: 51

And He the Most High said:

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا كُلُوا مِنْ طَيِّبَاتِ مَا رَزَقْنَاكُمْوَاشْكُرُوا لِلَّهِ إِنْ كُنتُمْ إِيَّاهُ تَعْبُدُونَ

” O you who Believe! Eat of the lawful things that we have provided you with and be grateful to Allah, if it is indeed He whom you worship”

Al Baqra 2:172

Then he [ the Messenger of Allah sallahu wa alayhi wa salam] mention ” The man on a long travel un-kept and dusty from the travel, stretch out his two hands to the sky [ and asked Allah] , O Rab [ Lord] O Rab [ Lord], implores Allah Glorified is He and the Most High and his food is haram [ unlawful] and his drink is haraam and his clothes  is haraam, so would  he answer that [ his conditions being unlawful] and for that He said: ” Eat of the Lawful things” , ” Eat of the lawful things that We have provided you with.” The Tayyib [lawful and pure and good things] it is the halal [lawful] and concerning what is others than halal indeed it is haraam [unlawful] and filthy. He does not accept the dua supplication just as stated in this sahih hadith [from before].

Fear Allah O slaves of Allah and ask Him to be steadfast to death. I seek refuge in Allah from the accused Shaitan.

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ حَقَّ تُقَاتِهِ وَلا تَمُوتُنَّ إِلاَّ وَأَنْتُمْ مُسْلِمُونَ

” O you who believer! Fear Allah [by doing all that He has ordered and by abstaining from all that He has forbidden], as He should be feared and die not except in the state of Islam.”

Al-Imran 3:102

May Allah bless me and you with the Mighty Quran, and benefit us with what is in the Quran from al Bayaan [clarity of its statements], and its wise remembrances. I remind myself saying, may Allah forgive me and you and all the Muslims. Seek forgiveness from Him, indeed He is All Forgiving All Merciful.

Second Khutbah:

All the Praise due to Allah for His Grace and Perfect Kindness and I thank Him for His Blessings and Gratitude. I bear witness that their no deity worthy of worship except Allah. Him Alone without associating partners in worship with Him, and Mighty concerning His Prestige.   I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and His Messenger the caller to His pleasure [What makes Allah pleased]. May Allah Bless him and his family and his companions. Send upon him the best and abundance of greetings.

Concerning what is after:

O people fear Allah the Most High, with reality of Taqwa and hold onto Islam with the Firmest Grip and knowledge, may Allah have mercy upon you. That it is not sufficient for mankind that he be pious with himself only. Rather it is a must that he works upon the correction of others than himself.  From his family and his children and his Muslim brothers with that he calls to Allah upon Al-Basira [knowledge and insight of Islam], that he teaches the ignorant and he reminds those who are unaware. And he works on saving his brothers [in faith] with all opportunities. Allah the Most High said:

وَالْعَصْرِ* إِنَّ الإِنسَانَ لَفِي خُسْرٍ* إِلاَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ

” By Al Asr [the time]. Verily man is in lost, except those who believe and do righteous good deeds….” [surah Asr]

He did not stop at this rather He said:

وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالْحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالصَّبْرِ

” And recommend one another to the truth and recommend one another to patience…” [surah Asr]

So mankind is responsible for his self and responsible concerning other than himself. In particular the people in his home like his children and his women.

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا قُوا أَنفُسَكُمْ وَأَهْلِيكُمْ نَاراً وَقُودُهَا النَّاسُ وَالْحِجَارَةُ عَلَيْهَا مَلائِكَةٌ غِلاظٌ شِدَادٌ لا يَعْصُونَ اللَّهَ مَا أَمَرَهُمْ وَيَفْعَلُونَ مَا يُؤْمَرُونَ

” O you who believe! Ward off yourselves and your families against a fire [ Hell] whose fuel is men and stones over which  are appointed angels stern [and] severe who disobey not, from executing the commands they receive from Allah,  but do that which they are commanded.”

Ar-Tarhram 66: 06

He does not centralize His sayings ” Ward off yourselves” only rather He orders with ” Ward off yourselves and your families”, Ward off [ protect] yourselves and ward off [ protect] your families from the Fire [ Hell].

So it upon the Muslim, that he establish this. It is an obligation upon him and he does not forget from Allah’s sovereignty is upon them. And he the Muslim is the protector upon them from his house hold and those who are from his kindred. Who are close to him?

وَأَنذِرْ عَشِيرَتَكَ الأَقْرَبِينَ

” And warn your tribe and near Kindred.”

Ash-Shuara 26: 214

Then he spread out his good to his brothers the Muslims, and be a caller to Allah with commanding the good [Islamic law], [al-halal the lawful], forbidden the wrong [that which is haraam {what is forbidden in Islam} and kufr {disbelief} and disobedience]. This is a Muslim which he acts upon saving his self and family and brothers in faith.

Fear Allah O slaves of Allah and know the best sayings are from the Book of Allah and the best guidance is the guidance of Muhammad sallallahu wa alayhi wa salam. The evilest of affairs is newly innovated affairs. You have the Jammah be with the Jammah of the Muslims . It will deliver you from the Fitnah [trials of hardship and disobedience], and all evil.  The Jammah is saved from what many falls into now.  From what around your surrounding from the fitnah and all evil and the lost of security and the scarcity of provisions [scarce/little of provisions].

The fitnah which there no ending except with returning to the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of Allah’s Messenger. It needs to be with the Jammah of the Muslims and the leader of the Muslims, so fear Allah. Slaves of Allah you have the Jammah, indeed Allah support is with the Jammah and who is extreme, for extreme is in the fire [Hell]. So know that Allah order you, with a command. And he begins the command within himself.

He orders you with it, He the Most High said:

إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَمَلائِكَتَهُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا صَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُوا تَسْلِيمًا

” Allah sends His Grace, Honours, Blessings, Mercy on the prophet and His angels [send their blessing on him]. O you who believe! Send your Blessings salutation on him, and you should greet [salute] him with the Islamic greetings [Assalamu Alaykum] “

Al Ahzab 33: 56

O Allah send your Blessings and peace upon your slave and your Messenger, our prophet Muhammad.

O Allah be pleased concerning the rightly guided Khalifa, the guided leaders, Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman and Ali.  And all companions and tabeen [those who came after the Messenger of Allah sallahu wa alayhi wa salam] and those who follow them to perfection to the day of Judgement.

O Allah cherish Islam and the Muslims. O Allah cherish Islam and the Muslims, and destroy their enemies. Give Makkah tranquility and the rest of the Muslims generally. O Rab [Lord] of all the worlds.

O Allah for those who want for us and for Islam, and the Muslims evil, make it work against themselves and ward off his deceitfulness in his own slaughter and his destruction in his schemes. Indeed you are upon all things Able [All Powerful].

O Allah preserve our faith and our Deen and our dwellings in our countries.  Improve our rulers and governor of our affairs. Make them guided from those who are guided other than those who are astray who are without guidance.  O Allah improve the government make them far from the evil government and those who are corrupted O lord of the worlds.

O slaves of Allah:

إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَأْمُرُ بِالْعَدْلِ وَالإِحْسَانِ وَإِيتَاءِ ذِي الْقُرْبَى وَيَنْهَى عَنْ الْفَحْشَاءِ وَالْمُنكَرِ وَالْبَغْيِ يَعِظُكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ

” Verily Allah enjoins al Adl [Justice] and Al-Ihsan [ performance your duties to Allah], and giving [ help] to kith and kin, and forbid al fahsa [ all evil deeds, illegal sexual acts, disobedience] and al Munkar [ all that Islam  prohibit]  and al-Baghy [ all kinds of oppression]. He admonishes you that you may take heed. And fulfill the covenants of Allah when you have confirmed them indeed you have appointed Allah your surety. Verily! Allah knows what you do

An-Nahl :90-91

So remember Allah and He will remember you. Have gratitude of Him, and His favor and He will increase you of His favors. And the remembrance of Allah is the greatest and Allah knows what you are to [your activities, what you do and hide from the people.]
