Passing of Arabic teaching Pioneer in New York Shaykh Ahmad Abdul-Qaabid

To Allaah belongs the life of Eternity.
We belong to Allaah and to Him is our Return.
With great sadness comes the news of the passing of Shaykh Ahmad Abdul Qabidh’s return to meet Allaah’s Mercy, (Wajaba). He was a longtime senior American pioneer educated in the study of the Arabic Language and Islaamic sciences and a public educator in Brooklyn and New York City school system.

Janazah will be in North Carolina and his rights to be announced soon.

Our hearts our broken and our eyes tear about his death, but we only say what’s pleasing to Allaah. Allaah, forgive his sins, exchange his good righteous deeds for his sins wiping out all his sins to give him no reckoning and make him among the truthful going into his grave and on his resurrection from his grave. Allaah, make his grave like a garden in Al Firdous. He taught so many the authentic creed of Al Islaam and the Sunnah of Mohammed ibn Abdullah (Allaah’s prayers and peace be on him).

My sincere condolences to his family and Muslims community who loved him. Aameen
There is no blame to pray the Islaamic absence funeral prayer on his behalf in your Masajid the day of his Janaazah or after a congregational prayer.

Our brother Ahmad Abdul-Qaabid was a true educator he translated Al-Fiqh al-Akbar by Abu Hanifah a few decades ago.He was a brother who introduced so many to the Islamic Sciences and mentored so many brothers. He was a walking library who really knew the scholars in Islam and there works.May Allah give our brother a beautiful abode and Jannah firdous.
