Tafseer Saadi “Do they seek other than the religion of Allah, while to Him submitted all creatures in the heavens and the earth, willingly or unwillingly. ” A’l-i-Imran verse 83

Do they seek other than the religion of Allah (the true Islamic Monotheism – worshipping none but Allah Alone), while to Him submitted all creatures in the heavens and the earth, willingly or unwillingly. And to Him shall they all be returned.

Which means: Do those who seek and those who desire for another way besides the Deen (way/religion) of Allah? This is not good nor is it suitable because there is nothing better than the Deen of Allah (al-Islam).

while to Him submitted all creatures in the heavens and the earth, willingly or unwillingly.

Which means all of the creation they are submissive, with the will to submit to Allah, for he willingly submits and it is his choice. For they are the believing Muslims who are submitting to the worship of their Lord.

Unwillingly for they are the remaining of the creation, even the disbelievers submit to the Divine Decree and Predestination of Allah and they are not free from Allah in no fashion. Their no omission for them (no special excuse made for them) by Allah. To Allah returns all of the creations, and Allah will Judge between them and He holds them accountable by His Rule. Which it is the state between true honor and true justice ( no one will be unjust that day).
