Shaykh Salih al Fawzan Q&A Why is the Current Ummah Weak.

Shaykh Salih al Fawzan Q&A Why is the Current Ummah Weak.

Q: May Allah give you the best,  there is a question from questions it says:  O the eminence’s shaykh, why is the condition of the Ummah weak in our present time, and what is the cause of that, and what advance it onward (continue to bring it about)?

A: The reasons are much (the Islamic nation is weak):

First reason: moreover it is the latter period of time and the people are far from the time before them from the ahul-as Sunnah (people on Quran and Sunnah) and Jammat (the current Muslim body) is weak in following the Sunnah of the Prophet sallahu wa alayhi wa salam(in our times), and the long interval between them and the past nation (that is close to the Prophet sallahu wa alayhi wa salam).

Second: There are many desires (people who are astray in the Deen), and many groups that are astray. And in our current time, it is also founded in the media which carries much from the evil and trials (and tribulations of all type), and it affects whoever obtains it (from evil and fitnah and misguide). He who looks into it as the scare & religious culture of Islam, and wide is the horizons ( how spacious is this misguided aspect and thinking in the Ummah and how it spreads) and what is similar to that.
