Q: The Questioner asked indeed you (scholars) call to Tawheed (Islamic Monotheism) so what is your proofs upon the word Tawheed, where is it derived from?

A: The answer… that one states:

The answer indicated  that the proofs are much from the Book of Allah the Mighty and the Majestic and the sunnah of the Messenger of Allah sallahu wa alayhi wa salam, and At-tawheed means the Oneness of Allah which  means: the belief (creed/doctrine) that He is The One and not to associate partner in worship with Him ( not to worship any deity alongside worshiping Him).

From the verses that prove His sayings, Glorified is He the Most High:

I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me.

Surah Adharidaat verse 56

Also, His sayings Glorified is He:

“And We did not send any Messenger before you  but We revealed to him (saying): La ilaha illa Ana [none has the right to be worshipped but I (Allah)], so worship Me (Alone and none else).”

These verses meaning are much, concerning the Hadeeths pertaining to it, from what is confirmed in Saheeh al Bukhari from Ibn Abbas may Allah the most high be pleased with them two, that the prophet sallahu wa alayhi wa salam said to Mu’ad may Allah be pleased with him when he sent Mu’ad to Yemen (the prophet instructed him):

‘Call them to single out Allah (in worship)’

with this wording ( in the narration), and in Saheeh Muslim from Taariq bin Asheem al-Ashaja’e may Allah be pleased with him about the prophet sallahu wa alayhi wa salam that he said:

‘ whoever makes Allah one (in worship, single Him out in worship only) and disbelieve in what is worship from beside Allah, for it is sacred his wealth (unlawful to take) and his blood ( unlawful to be shed), and his reckoning is with Allah’.

So frankly his saying: ‘ to make Allah One’ so that proves that this is the meaning of  لا إله إلا الله laa ilah ila Allah (no deity worthy of worship except Allah), and from that it confirmed in Saheeh Muslim from ibn Umar may Allah be pleased with him that the prophet sallahu wa alayhi wa salam said:

‘ Islam was built upon five (pillars), (first of the pillars is) to make Allah One (in worship, which is part of the first pillar of Islam)’ hadeeth.

And that is the explanation of his saying (the prophet) sallahu wa alayhi wa salam in another narration:

‘ Islam was built upon five (pillars) Shahada (testimony of faith)  أن لا إله إلا الله، وأن محمدًا رسول الله that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah’ hadeeth.

The hadeeths in this meanings are much والله الموفق  (Allah is the grantor of  all types of success) Majmuua 3/140.

Q: How is the way to the awareness of the reality of Tawheed by belief, conduct and, action?

A: The path, by the praise of Allah, is easy, so it is upon the believer that he takes account of himself, he must adhere his self to the truth and he must work with all that is produce ( authenticated) in the texts ( from the Quran and the authentic Sunnah {hadeeth}) with themselves. So he must be steadfast upon the oneness of Allah, and sincerely for Him (Allah), he must adhere to acting upon that, and they ( the believers) are calling to it (the Oneness of Allah Tawheed), until he (the believer) becomes establish upon it ( the call of Tawheed) and it becomes an inborn trait (character/moral) of his.

Nothing harms him after that from he who intends to hinder him from this (call of Tawheed) or  bring hindrance to him. What is important with this affair that he take his self into account and that he has good awareness (of Tawheed) until nothing hinders him from this affair until there are not any types of doubts advocated  in him ( turns him from the truth).
