Q: If someone was to enter the masjid to prays the (two) Sunnah prayers (before) Fajr Salah, and includes it with Tahiyatu alMasjid together (two rakats prayed when entering the masjid) is this permissible?

A: Yes he prays two rakaats and he intends with the two rakaats, Tahiyatu al Masjid and the regular Sunnah prayers for al Fajr. No problem with that but his intention for the regular Sunnah for al Fajr is sufficient for tahiyatu al Masjid.

راتبة الفجر مع تحية المسجد

السؤال:
إذا دخل المسجد يصلي راتبة الفجر وضمها مع تحية المسجد يجوز ذلك؟
الجواب: نعم يصلي ركعتين وينويهما تحية المسجد وراتبة الفجر لا بأس بذلك ولكن كونه ينويها راتبة الفجر وتكفي عن تحية المسجد  .
