Q&A Is it Permissible to Swear by the Life of Allah, by Shaykh Dr Saleh al Fawzan

 

Question:

 

Is it permissible to swear with the saying  ‘wa hiyaatillahi’  ‘by  the Life of Allah’?

 

Answer:

All the Attributes of Allah it is permissible to swear with it, and ‘wa hiyaatillahi’  ‘by  the Life of Allah’ is from the Attributes of Allah, Glorified is He free from all imperfection  and the Most High –  الحي القيوم   Al-Hayyul-Qayyum (the Ever Living).

السؤال: 

هل يجوز الحلف بقول وحياةِ الله ؟

الجواب : كل صفات الله يجوز الحلف بها، وحياة الله من صفاته -سبحانه وتعالى- ( الحي القيوم) .
