All the praise is for Allah the Most High, the Lord of all the worlds. Peace and Blessing of Allah be upon our Prophet Muhammad, and his family and his companions and those who follow him.
Who are the Sahaabah from two angles:
1. al-Fuqahaa( Ulimaa of Fiqh, {note Ulimaa means scholars in that field}).
2. al-Muhaditheen ( Ulimaa of Hadeeth)
1. al-Fuqaha knows the Sahabah is whover accepted Islam believed in it, and saw and sat with the Messenger of Allah sallahu wa alayhi wa salam for a period of time and died on Iman.
2. al-Muhaditheen knows the Sahabah is whoever accepted Islam and believed in it and saw the Messeger or Allah sallahu wa alyhi wa salam one time, and died on Iman.
What is the benefit of the two:
1.al- Fuqahaa view is for the purpose of extracting in fiqh from these sahabah(s) who was with the Messenger of Allah sallahu wa alayhi wa salam for a period of time, that he was able to grasp and learn from him subjects (in details). Which the Fuqahaa are able to bring out rulings and understanding from him. Like Abu Hurarrah, and Ibn Abbas, Abu Bakr, Umar, and Ibn Umar so on and so forth
2. al-Muhaditheen: one time (seeing) for the purpose of collecting the narration related to the isnaad.
Like hadeeth al A’had (narration from one or two or three or more ) and Hadeeth alMutawaatir ( from many narrators of people from Sahabah and tabeeen).
