All the praise is for Allah the Most High, the Lord of all the worlds. Peace and Blessing of Allah be upon our Prophet Muhammad, and his family and his companions and those who follow him.

I like to break down a section in two different verses in Quran for those of us who have intellect.

Allah the Most high states in Quran :

الزانية و الزاني فَأجلِدُاوٱ كلَّ واحد منهما مِائةٍ جلدةٍ . سورة النور 2

” The female who commit Zina (Zaaniyah, a female who is a fornicator ) and the man who commit Zina (Zaani) for lash each one of them with a hundred lashes.”

In a different verse speaking about the one who steals:

و السارق و السارقة فاقطعوٱ أيديهما جزآء

” And the male thief and the female thief cut off a portion of these two (male and female thief) hands”.

In the first verse is talking about the one who commits zina, Allah the Most high mention the female who commits zina first, and then the male who commits zina after. In the other verse talking about the one who steals and the Had ( prescribe punishment ) He the most high mention first the male their then the female thief.

It is known in the case of stealing that a man is most likely to steal because a man has people depending on him and have needs so it most likely for a man to steal, then Allah mention the woman thief and it is known in Islam that a woman she is maintained, and it most likely not to steal . So Allah mentions the male first then the female.

In the first verse Allah in His wisdom mention for the one who commits zina. He the Most High mention the female who commits Zina which is the word Zaaniya then it mentions the male Zaani. The wisdom behind this verse mentioning the woman first, it is known that a man can not commit zina with a woman unless she consents meaning agree to it, and if she say no the man can not fornicate with her if she says yes he can. If she say no, and he does so by force this is rape.

So the wisdom of Allah addresses the woman first she has to agree for the man to commit zina with her.

Some proof from those brothers and sisters who have good thoughts and intellect. In the Hadeeth related about the three men stuck in the cave and a large boulder at the entrance. This hadeeth is known for Tawseel Saheeh ( lawful means to get near to Allah by a means of righteous actions) one of the men in the cave said:

“The second said, o Allah! You know that I was in love with my cousin of mine, like the deepest love a man may have for a woman, and she told me that I would not get my desire fulfilled unless I paid her one hundred Dinars gold pieces. So I struggled for it till I gather the desired amount, and when I sat in between her legs, she told me to Fear Allah, and asked me not deflower her except rightfully by marriage. So I got up and left her. O Allah! If you regard that I did for your sake kindly remove this rock. So two thirds of the rock was removed.”

We can see that the action of the man could not be committed after she told him to fear Allah and not to deflower her, meaning no, at first she said yes, then no Subhannnallah! Which shows the woman have to accept the man’s offers to commit zina, and her rejecting the offer prevents them two from committing Zina.

The wisdom of the book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger sallahu wa alayhi wa salam.
