Q & A By Dr Shaykh Salih al Fawzan: Those who say obeying the Ruler is a Statement of Jamiyoon

Q & A by Dr Shaykh Salih al Fawzan:

Those who say obeying the Ruler is a Statement of Jamiyoon

Question:

Your eminence what is your opinion about the one who said: ” listening and obeying to the Wali Amar (He who, and those who are in authority over the people) is the works and statement of the Jamiyah (1)?  Also who are the Jamiyoon?

Answer:

Who is the one who said : (Quran) Oh you who believe obey Allah and His Messenger and those who are in authority over you.   Who said this the Jamiyoon? No, Allah said this!   Who is the one who said: (hadeeth) ” upon you is to fear Allah, and hear and obey to your ruler even if it’s a slave who rules over you”.   Who said this Jamiyoon or this Munifq (hypocrite who is saying this statement), this sinner. I ask Allah for pardon (freeing from this claim). What is important that you do not follow this type of affairs (speech).

Question asked:   But they always say: “that this is the methodology of the Jamiyah”. Is there a group called Jamiyah?

Answer:

They are the ones who made up this name. There is not such group by this name. Like their insulting name calling; Wahabi State here (in Saudi). lying by them saying the Wahabi(s) went against what the Salaf of this Ummah (nation), and their Imams was upon. This label that they render to those who are upon the truth. So do not follow these mocking labels.
