All the praise is for Allah the Most High, the Lord of all the worlds. Peace and Blessing of Allah be upon our Prophet Muhammad, and his family and his companions and those who follow him.

It’s better to be an Alim (a scholar of Islam) and not a terrorist, because a scholar is the one who pushes the truth and changes the hearts of the people. The terrorist are the ones who tries to change people by force, and death, and the fear of death. Like the Western countries who bombed the Muslims countries, and invaded them with military might. But at hand, they did not changed the people’s hearts from Islam, even if they conquered over them, they  controlled their bodies, or their lands, but not their hearts. For it’s the reason the Western Colonist / World Order’s invasions did not turn the people away from Islam, or solved their problems (look at their ending results). 

Be a scholar, a Muslim scholar who up holds the laws of Islam, and that which we find in the laws of Islam are those who enforced it, they are Scholars, Imams , Fuqaha (scholars of fiqh), Duaat (callers to Islam), Judges, Islamic court system, shartaa ( police) , soldiers and army and military who protect and serve and uphold the Islam and the Quran and the Sunnah. All of these people are Muhjahideen (those who struggle) in the way of Allah. All of this came by through the knowledge of a scholar & scholarship in Islam. Through his virtue act of seeking Allah’s Face, and seeking knowledge to get close to Allah, and calling to it by a means of action, and acting out his knowledge. Which contributes to the foundation of the Islamic System of Law and Justice, known as the Shariah, and those who enforce it, and protect it, and its people, their careers and jobs is rooted in Islamic knowledge and can’t be reached except with Islamic knowledge.

Allah states in His Noble Book:

:قالَ الله تعالى
ما كان لِبَشَرٍ أن يُؤتَيَهُ اللهُ الكِتابَ و الحُكمَ و النُبُوَّةَ ثُمَّ يَقُولَ لِلناسِ كُونُواْ عَبادًا لِّي من دُونِ الله وَلكن كُونُواْ رَبَّانِيِّنَ بِما كُنتُم تُعَلِّمُونَ الكِتابَ و بِما كُنتُم تَدرُسونَ.
سورة آل عمران: 79

“It is not (possible) for any human being to whom Allah has given the Book and Al-Hukma (the knowledge and understanding of the laws of religion, etc.) and Prophethood to say to the people: “Be my worshipers rather than Allah’s.” On the contrary (he would say): “Be you Rabbaniyun (knowledgeable men of religion who practice what they know and also preach others), because you are teaching the Book, and you are studying it.”

The terrorist is he who opposes the deen of Allah, and destroying whoever do not agree with them, by the means of acts of terrorism. Terrorists are not only Jihadi like ISIS, or al Qayda, but those same countries that invaded a Muslim country by bombs, drones, planes,  their military to force them to accept their ideology by the means of force and blood shedding. 

The scholar in Islam, spreads Islam by the means of beneficial knowledge of Allah the Most High and clinging onto the Sunnah of His Messenger Muhammad peace and blessing  of Allah be upon him, and his family and his companions. 

The works of a scholar is more virtue, because the scholars knows how to fight, with a pen, or a sword, and when to fight, and when to be soft, and agree to a treaty (peace), and when to be harsh, and when to be kind. How to fight the correct way prescribe by Islam and  he knows what is the incorrect way to fight. Which its foundation are base on his actions from beneficial knowledge of the Quran and Sunnah.

And the saying of the Messenger of Allah sallahu wa alayhi wa sallam:

Oh Muslims’ Youths do not be quick to destroy yourselves, do not be despair, but be scholars this is the true Mujahideen of Allah. 

If you want to defend Islam, and fight the disbeliever, start by being a scholar, look at the call of Islam and the caller of Islam, and the caller of disbelief by the means of bombs and destruction .

The Messenger of Allah sallahu wa alayhi wa salam called to Islam by knowledge and good manners, look at how many people turn to Islam after him. This was not by the sword, and his call changed the whole world, not only Islamic world but the whole word due to the deeds and the call of the Messenger of Allah sallahu wa alayhi wa salam, that impacted and changed all nations due to we was (and will be) the leaders of many nations.

اتِهِ وَيُزَكِّيهِمْ وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَإِن كَانُوا مِن قَبْلُ لَفِي ضَلَالٍ مُّبِينٍ
(  سورة الجمعة  , Al-Jumua, Chapter #62, Verse #2)

He it is Who sent among the unlettered ones a Messenger (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) from among themselves, reciting to them His Verses, purifying them (from the filth of disbelief and polytheism), and teaching them the Book (this Qur’an, Islamic laws and Islamic jurisprudence) and Al-Hikmah (As-Sunnah: legal ways, orders, acts of worship of Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم). And verily, they had been before in manifest error;

 

If you killed two or four and even a hundred with guns or bombs, you did not lead none of those killed to Islam.

And when it is said to them: “Make not mischief on the earth,” they say: “We are only peacemakers.”

But if you’re a caller to Islam by the means of scholarly knowledge of the Quran and Sunnah you lead thousands of people to Islam. Is it more wise to spend your time learning Islam and calling people to it, because its outcome is much better. Those that you killed(ing) even if its one or up to a thousand, and if you killed them unjustly they will come on the day of judgment not as a reward for you, but the reason you’re entering the fire. Allah the Most High said:

Then is one to whom the evil of his deed has been made attractive so he considers it good [like one rightly guided]? For indeed, Allah sends astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills. So do not let yourself perish over them in regret. Indeed, Allah is Knowing of what they do.

If you come on the day of judgment as a scholar who sought the rewards of Allah, by the means of his worship (by seeking knowledge of the deen) and getting close to Allah, and many came to Islam by your hand, even if it’s 1! For it is much better than the one who comes to Allah will the blood of the innocent people, even if he killed or harmed 1!

Terrorism in Islam:
According to Shaykh ‘Abdul ‘Azeez Ibn Baaz (rahimahullaah), “…Terrorism is to transgress upon people by way of unjustly striking or killing them, with no proof (to justify these actions); rather (these actions are committed) upon ignorance and dearth of insight; they are the terrorists who kill people unjustly, without any evidence from the Sharee’ah (Islaamic Law). Thus, they change people’s (state of) security, and they cause problems between them and between their countries; those are the terrorists.”
