  Question:

What is the advice for the youths, and from them the students of knowledge, those who follow up the World Cup Games in the third of the night, and in the month of Ramadan, where the Games will be in the times of Esha Salah, and Tawarih ( the special night prayer in Ramadan)?

Answer:

Obligatory upon the Muslims they abandon fun and play and that they accept upon worship of Allah Az wa Jala, and they do not lose their time in following Games (World Cup Games) and other than it, from fun and play. Specially in the month of Blessed Ramadan. The obligation (of the fast and worship in Ramadan) upon the Muslims in general, and specifically the youths. Because some of them are involved with the Games (World Cup) and view the Games and this has no benefit in it, rather in it is a harm and in it is the waste of time. How do the people loses their time, and his time is priceless and he loses the mighty season and it is Ramadan, in following the Games (World Cup), this is a mighty lost so do not compensate Ramadan. So it upon them to abandon this and they accept the worship of Allah in particular in Ramadan, and take advantage of his noble time (all the time) in obedience to Allah, and in standing the night prayer (tawarih), and  Tahuajud (night prayer in and out of Ramadan), this which He order with and He who made it stay for them (benefits of these acts of worship mention) and they finding them treasury with Allah Az wa Jala.
