Muslim’s Stance Are Always Far From Fitnah by Shaykh Dr Salih al Fawzan

Muslim’s Stance Are Always Far From Fitnah by Shaykh Dr Salih al Fawzan may Allah Preserve him Ameen.

Question:
We request from your Eminence that you make it clear the events of fitnah which take place in our time? And what the Muslim’s Position on this Fitnah?   How to react to this fitnah with knowledge that their energetic youths involved. It is a must you explain this fitnah and what is correct?

Answer:
The interaction with this Fitnah is to hold on to the Allah’s Book and the Sunnah of His Messenger Sallahu wa alayhi wa salam.  He Sallahu wa alayhi wa salam said:
” That there shall be Fitnah. They said (to him)  what takes us out this fitnah O’ Messenger of Allah Sallahu wa alayhi wa salam. He said ” Allah’s Book (the Quran).”  So hold on to Allah’s Book and returning to the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger Sallahu wa alyhi wa salam, and be with the Jamaat Muslimeen this is obligatory (wajib) regarding Fitnah. So when he asked Hadhifah  ibn alYaman Radia Allahu anhu.
The Messenger of Allah Sallahu wa alyhi wa salam said regarding Fitnah and he mentioned it, he said:
“What do your order me with? He said: ” that you must hold onto the Body (Jamaat/ group) of the Muslims and its Imams (leaders)”. He said: If I do not see that there is a Jamaat or Imam? “. He Sallahu wa alayhi wa salam said: ” So leave all these groups and if you hold on tightly on the root of a tree (meaning his sunnah) until death meets you”.
This is the stance regarding fitnah and that mankind stands away from fitnah and he preserves his tongue and he does not speak about fitnah except with good neither does startle up (incite) between the Muslims. Neither does he praise those or actions of them:

“…so be not a pleader for the treacherous.” Surah Nisa verse 105.

“And argue not on behalf of those who deceive themselves. Verily, Allah does not like anyone who is a betrayer, sinner.” Surah Nisa 107

It is obligatory on mankind that he hold his tongue and do not talk except with good and with knowledge and he separate from this affair and he must hold on to the Book of Allah and the Jamaat of the Muslims this is Wajib (obligatory).
And concerning whomsoever are misguided with them like this and like that we do not know regarding this affair and we do not know what behind this affair but we ask Allah that He guides the strayed Muslims and that he shows them to what is correct and show them to the truth and that He makes us hidden to the enemy’s  mayhem and the plots of the oppressors.
Indeed the answer is near and he corrects the Muslims’ children and upon those who are in error with this affair that they return to the body of the Muslims (Jamaat) and they seek correct knowledge (of Islam and Quran and Sunnah) which will direct them and knowledge and all the praise is due to Allah.  Available (adhere) and presentable and returning to seeking knowledge and the entrance into institutes and faculties for them to study the correct methodologies and the methodology of as-Salaf as-Salih (pious predecessors) and so you shall find what is correct by Allah’s will.
