التعطيل: at-Tateel Relationship with Shirk
All Praise is due to Allah Glorified is He free from all Imperfection, He Who there nothing like Him, and I bear witness that Muhammad sallahu wa alayhi wa salam is His slave and Messengers.
التعطيل: at-Tateel means negating the real meanings and denying the Attributes of Allah.
Literally, in Arabic, it means to damage or distort.
لَيْسَ كَمِثْلِهِ شَيْءٌ ۖ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْبَصِيرُ
There is nothing like Him; and He is the All-Hearer, the All-Seer.
Ashoora verse 11
فَلَا تَضْرِبُوا لِلَّهِ الْأَمْثَالَ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَعْلَمُ وَأَنتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ
So put not forward similitudes for Allah (as there is nothing similar to Him, nor He resembles anything). Truly! Allah knows and you know not. Surah An-Nahil 74

The different types of Tateel in the Oneness of Allah and the Tateel is the section in the chapter of Tawheed as three sections:
- 1 [Distortion/ Deny] Tateel in Tawheed Rububiya
- 2 [Distortion/ Deny] Tateel in Tawheed Uluhiya
- 3 [Distortion/ Deny] Tateel in Tawheed Asmaa wa As-Sifaat.
The Qualities (related to the Attributes of Allah). So Tawheed just as it is known to be the opposite of Shirk. And Shirk and Tateel the two are correlative.
For All Mushirk areمعطل Mutel (Those who denying Allah’s names and attributes) all معطل Mutel are Mushrik, but the shirk does not require the principal & foundation of Tateel.
Rather yet the Mushrik establish with the Creator His Glory and His Attributes, but he denies the truth and reality of Tawheed. The principle belongs to shirk (polytheism) and its foundation which returns to it and it is Tateel.

والصفات.فالتوحيد كما هو معلوم ضده الشرك، والشرك والتعطيل متلازمان، فكل مشرك معطل وكل معطل مشرك، لكن الشرك لا يستلزم أصل التعطيل، بل قديكون المشرك مقرًا بالخالق سبحانه وصفاته ولكنه عطل حق التوحيد، وأصلالشرك وقاعدته التي يرجع إليها هو التعطيل
